Sustainable Manufacturing, Service, and Support Recycle 80% of the chemical and solid waste generated per year. 70% of chemical and solid waste recycled with 19% waste reduction from Q1 2011.
Corporate Energy Efficiency Reduce overall energy consumption normalized as a percent of sales by 20% from 2009 levels. Energy use increased 3% from Q1 2011, but was 46% below the Q1 2009 baseline.
Paper Use Reduction Reduce paper use by 5% per year using 2010 baseline. Printer paper use decreased 7% from Q1 2011.
Process Water Use Contain process water use increase to 10% of 2010 baseline. Process water use decreased in Q1 12% from Q1 2010 baseline.

Design for the Environment Achieve engineering milestones to ensure that Ultratech products support efficiency and green markets. Continue to reduce power consumption per wafer processed. Designing tools to supprt markets that reduce energy consumption such as LED; designing illuminator that eliminates mercury use.
Industry Partnerships Encourage key suppliers to have programs that support environmental sustainability. 50% of keys suppliers have publically documented programs with goals and metrics that demonstrate continual improvement in reducing their environmental impact.
