Duties:

  • Create optical designs for new product development of lithography and laser annealing tools.
  • Create design concepts in support of advanced R&D investigations.
  • Provide tolerance analysis for optical designs.
  • Work on projects from the concept development stage through delivery to manufacturing.
  • Develop test and verification procedures; take part in testing and experimentation.
  • Assist manufacturing during manufacture of prototype assemblies, and develop manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Support operations to resolve supplier and production problems.

Experience/Education Required:

  • Ph. D. in optical engineering or related field.  Will consider M.S. for exceptional candidate.
  • 7+ years industry experience;
  • Experience developing optical systems for lithography, high power laser based systems, infrared systems (1 mm to 10 mm) , and/or imaging systems
  • Proficient in CODE V, ZEMAX, ASAP, working knowledge of MATLAB or MATHCAD desirable.
  • Knowledge of geometrical and physical optics, optical measurements.
  • Knowledge of optical fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with refractive and reflective optical system design, and incoherent and coherent sources.
  • Experience with imaging and illumination optical system design.

Performance Engineer

Title: Performance Engineer
Location: San Jose, California

The Performance Engineering function will incorporate systems, design, reliability, and quality engineering to develop continuous improvement projects for lithography and laser thermal annealing semiconductor capital equipment.  This individual will design to increase tool availability, increase MTBF, and lower MTTR.  Semiconductor equipment is complex, presenting unique challenges across engineering disciplines including electronics, mechanics, software, optics, and physics. A talented, successful performance engineer will be able to work across these disciplines to develop successful innovative solutions.

Duties:

  • Manage, design, develop, and implement performance based improvement projects, ensuring that the projects meet specifications, and maintain schedule and budget
  • Work across departments to ensure smooth rollouts of CIP projects
  • Analyze field data, employing statistical analysis to determine projects and prove performance improvements once CIP projects have been implemented
  • Analyze tool components and systems to develop, model, and maintain reliability models
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and leadership for technical support and manufacturing engineering groups.  Lead escalation efforts, determine root cause analysis, and provide quick turn engineering solutions for field issues.  Represent engineering as a factory expert at customer sites and during customer calls.
  • Provide technical expertise and documentation to sales and marketing teams
  • Support/supplement quality engineering by performing failure analysis, manufacturing processes, and developing/maintaining component and system test equipment

Requirements:

  • Preferred 6+ years experience in photolithography or thermal annealing semiconductor equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of semiconductor market, technologies, components, and customers.
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with statistical reliability analysis methods
  • Knowledge of NEC, Semi-S2, F47, and CE standards
  • Experience in establishing and enhancing processes and standard operation procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player with strong customer service skills, must be willing to work hands on in a clean room environment
  • Strong computer skills Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
  • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, OrCAD, Pads, and ManMan applications
  • International travel required, <20%

Education:

Senior Stock Administrator/GL Accountant

Title: Senior Stock Administrator/GL Accountant

Duties:

  • Processing daily Stock Option Exercises
  • Entering new accounts, grants, and terminations
  • Preparing, distributing, and maintaining stock option grant agreements
  • Maintaining files
  • Manage Insider Trading compliance and communications
  • Answering employee questions regarding stock options
  • Updating E-Trade database
  • Managing disqualifying disposition survey and reporting

  • Coordinating the month end close process of international subsidiaries
  • Allocating inter-company expenses to various divisions and reconcile inter-company accounts
  • Working as a liaison between the corporate and international subsidiaries for daily activities

Experience/Education Required:

  • Minimum of four years experience handling stock administration for a global, publicly-traded company including interaction with employees, stock administration service providers, and transfer agents
  • Strong knowledge of Equity Edge including SFAS 123R calculations and expense reporting
  • In depth knowledge of Rule 144/145, Section 16, SEC filing requirements, and 10b5-1 Plans administration
  • Knowledge of legal, tax, finance, and international laws in connection with stock plans
  • knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel and partners
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Experience Desired:

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred

Tax Manager

Title:Tax Manager

  • Work with other departments in creating/disposing of entities as it pertains to tax matters
  • Prepare and review income tax provision/FAS 109 and related footnote disclosures
  • Monitor effective tax rate

Experience and Education required:

  • Degree in accounting or finance related; tax emphasis and/or Masters in taxation preferred; CPA preferred.
  • 5-7 yrs of federal, multi-state, & international tax  experience (some Big 4 experience preferred).

  • Must pass a background check including credit check.
  • Experience with Technical Writing software preferred.
  • Experience with high powered lasers preferred.
